Frequently asked

Questions we answer often.

01 How do research partnerships start?

Send an enquiry describing your feedstock, target material and timeline. The partnerships desk responds within five working days, typically scheduling a technical call. Material can be shared under a standard NDA once a mutual interest is confirmed.

02 Can we access your raw datasets?

Published datasets are accessible on request through the partnerships desk. Strain records and process data beyond published releases are shared under collaboration agreements with defined use terms.

03 What does “lower-impact” mean in your materials claims?

Every claim is tied to a published life-cycle model with declared scope and assumptions. We describe our materials as lower-impact relative to specific conventional comparators within defined system boundaries — never as a universal or audited truth. Independent methodology review begins in 2026.

04 Do you use genetically modified organisms?

Yes — our platform relies on engineered microbial strains, working strictly in contained-use fermentation. Every strain design passes biosafety review, and our containment and disposal procedures are documented in the biosecurity register.

05 Can investors receive reporting on programme progress?

Programme owners publish quarterly updates covering technical milestones, resource use and dataset releases. Responsible investors can align to specific stages under defined governance, with reporting commitments set out in the investment memorandum.

06 Can we visit the Fermentation Hall?

Open-lab days run twice a year in Norrköping for the local community. Partner and investor visits are arranged through the partnerships desk, subject to facility availability and biosafety protocol training.
